We're screening the iconic 1983 hacker thriller WarGames, a film Come watch the film that sparked imaginations and brought cybersecurity into the public eye. Think: rotary phones, early modems, and world-ending simulations — all with that classic '80s charm.

First opened in 1979, the Evening Star Cinema is known for celebrating the art of cinema. Located in downtown Brunswick, it’s beloved for its cozy vibe, independent film curation ... and yes, real butter on the popcorn.

👾 About the Film:
WarGames stars Matthew Broderick as a teenage hacker who accidentally hacks into a military supercomputer and nearly triggers World War III. It's the original cybersecurity awareness training, but way more fun.
